CFOx is seeking a Senior Associate to join its growing team. This on-site position will be located in our Detroit, MI or Denver, CO offices and support the firm’s CFO and Accounting Services practices. Overview

CFOx is an advisory firm that specializes in CFO, Transaction & Accounting Services to the middle-market. Our CFO and Accounting Services practice primarily serves private equity-backed and founder-owned businesses that need additional capabilities to scale and gain visibility into their business.

Typical engagements include:

1. Fractional or Interim CFO

2. Post M&A transaction integrations and transitions

3. Historical accounting clean-up

4. Accounting processes, procedures, and systems implementation

5. Financial planning & analysis (FP&A)

6. Accounting services (i.e.: month-end close, financial statement preparation, bill pay)

Responsibilities

• Support and execute CFO Services and Accounting Services client engagements
• Prepare client deliverables, analyses, and reports
• Improve and implement internal processes, procedures, and templates for the firm
• Active involvement in the firm’s business development efforts
• Active participation in company operations and strategy

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of public accounting or/and corporate finance experience
• Previous audit experience is preferred
• CPA license is preferred
