Position: Regional Manager

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year

Position Overview: We are seeking a Regional Manager to play a key role in managing and optimizing the performance of our multifamily properties. In this leadership position, you will be responsible for overseeing a region of properties, ensuring operational efficiency, managing staff, and driving financial performance. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering quality workforce housing for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee property operations, including spending, collections, leasing, turnover, and maintenance programs.

  • Manage and optimize budgets, expenses, and operating ratios for assigned properties.

  • Approve purchase orders and review payables, ensuring financial efficiency.

  • Direct and support property managers and maintenance staff with leasing, unit turnovers, and vendor management. 

  • Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and property assessments to ensure quality and safety.

  • Lead annual budgeting processes and provide insights for future spending.

  • Assist with investor reporting and communications, providing updates on property performance.

  • Hire, train, and manage property managers and other staff to ensure high standards of operation.

  • Provide oversight of renovation projects, capital expenditure spending, and vendor relationships.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: 1+ years of experience as a Regional Manager or in a similar role within the apartment industry, managing 600+ units and 10+ properties. 

  • Skills: Strong financial management, organizational, and leadership skills.

  • Software: Proficiency in Google Suite of Products (Sheets, Docs, etc) and experience with property management software (Appfolio or similar).

  • Education: An undergraduate degree in Business Management/Administration or related field is preferred.

  • Certifications: CPM or similar designation is a plus. Broker's License is preferred but not required.

  • Travel: Ability and willingness to travel to properties 3-4 days per week.

  • Other Qualities: Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to operations and team management.
