Procurement Specialist - Campbell Oil Co, Inc. (Newton, TX) Job Duties: Negotiate contracts and purchase agreements with vendors for fuel, equipment, and related services, aiming to optimize cost and delivery terms. Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure timely and efficient fuel deliveries across distribution points. Maintain supplier performance metrics, accurate procurement records, contracts, purchase orders, and supplier performance evaluations to support audits, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with finance and inventory teams to manage budgets, forecast demand, and control stock levels efficiently. Work closely with dispatch and operations teams to coordinate timely fuel deliveries to company-owned sites and customer locations, minimizing downtime and disruptions. Ensure all procurement practices meet federal, state, and local compliance standards, including TCEQ and DOT regulations. Support inventory planning and fuel forecasting by collaborating with finance and logistics teams to balance cost efficiency with operational readiness. Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email addressing fuel-related questions, orders, and service issues promptly and professionally. Process and track fuel orders via MS Excel reports, ensuring accurate delivery schedules, billing details, and inventory availability to meet customer demands. Accurately input customer orders, transaction records, and communication details into the company’s CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system. Assist with billing inquiries, verify payments, and ensure accurate invoicing for fuel deliveries, handling discrepancies as needed. Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as a Sales Associate or Manager in a whole-sale business environment. Must have two years of experience in MS Excel and CRM systems/tools. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to work 40 hours a week (with 1 hour break), across 7 days a week including public holidays.
