\nThis position is responsible for facilitating and maintaining the calibration/preventive maintenance system. Included are the support of fixtures, assembly aids, and work instructions used in the manufacture and test of Solta Medical products. Additionally, performs a variety of tasks associated with product line support and assists Manufacturing and Test Engineering with process development, qualification, and maintenance.

\n Principle Responsibilities and Duties: 
\n Maintain the Calibration / Preventive Maintenance system \n

    \n\t
  • Coordinate the calibration of traceable equipment.\n\t
  • Onsite calibration events.\n\t
  • Coordinate with areas outside of manufacturing Affect repair or replacement of out of specification or broken equipment.\n\t
  • Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing and test equipment as required.\n\t
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair activities on manufacturing and test equipment, as required. \n\t
  • Process changes to quality system documentation as needed. 
    \n\t \n
\n Support Operations Engineering \n\n
    \n\t
  • Build fixtures, assembly aids, and workstations to be used in production for the manufacturing, assembly, and testing of product.\n\t
  • Qualification of fixtures, assembly aids, and workstations.\n\t
  • Assist Manufacturing and Test Engineering in proof-of-concept activities.
    \n\t \n
\n Performs administrative functions within the calibration system \n\n
    \n\t
  • Add/remove users and permissions.\n\t
  • Creation of preventive maintenance forms.\n\t
  • Manages timeliness of calibration, PM, and suppliers. \n\t
  • Operates effectively within the purchase requisition system.\n
\n 
\n Experience, Education, Training, Traits: \n\n
    \n\t
  • High School Diploma Required.\n\t
  • An AA degree in Engineering Science or equivalent, and six years’ experience within a production test environment.\n\t
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.\n\t
  • A self-motivated and meticulous individual, able to work in a team and small company environment.\n\t
  • Working knowledge of both analog and digital circuit designs and troubleshooting skills with at the component level. \n\t
  • Working knowledge and troubleshooting skills of electromechanical equipment. 
    \n\t \n
\n Hands-on experience with: \n\n
    \n\t
  • Typical electronic test equipment.\n\t
  • Typical machine shop tools and equipment.\n\t
  • Fabrication, troubleshooting, repairing, and testing of production test and process equipment.
    \n\t \n
\n Desired skills include: \n\n
    \n\t
  • Experience in medical device manufacturing and/or other regulated industries such as aerospace. \n\t
  • Background in ultrasonic products, lasers, RF, and embedded systems.\n\t
  • Mechanical and/or electrical design experience.\n\t
  • Experience with lean manufacturing concepts.\n

\nAs required by law, Bausch Health provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in the US. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For this role, the range of starting pay is $27.00 to $35.00 per hour.
\n
