SimVentions, consistently voted one Virginia's Best Places to Work, is looking for Information Assurance Specialist to work on a new and emerging Navy tactical system that integrates with the full suite of combat sensors. SimVentions is looking for engineers to be part of a team to support the US Navy focused on developing and modernizing electronic warfare (EW) system.

Responsibilities: 

The Information Assurance Specialist will provide support for a new, high-visibility Naval information system that integrates with EW sensors.

Required Skills & Experience: 

Five (5) years of experience in local/wide area networks, workstation/personal computer installation and maintenance, and/or operation of application computer networks.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Computer security requirements to Secure Internet Protocol Routing Network (SIPRNET).

Software to include Oracle, MSAccess, Linux, and Java.

Networking and information technology (IT) and current Cyber Security guidelines, procedures, and processes.

Education: This position requires IAT Level 2 or higher

Clearance: An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required for this position.

Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.

The projected annual compensation range for this position is $70,000 - $100,000 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
