About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to take on a pivotal leadership role in the development and execution of the organization's technology strategy. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader with deep technical expertise in server and infrastructure management, and will be responsible for aligning IT strategy with business objectives, leading a team of IT professionals, and driving digital transformation initiatives. This role requires a CIO who can not only manage and optimize IT infrastructure but also ensure its reliability, security, and scalability. The CIO will also be tasked with overseeing clinical and operational integration projects, establishing and enforcing IT policies for compliance, and managing IT budgets effectively. Applicants for the CIO position at the company should have a proven track record in leading IT teams, managing integration projects, and implementing innovative solutions. Advanced technical skills in network administration, troubleshooting, and IT operations are essential, as is expertise in project management. The role demands a leader with high emotional intelligence, professionalism, and the ability to maintain composure under pressure, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with executives and boards. Preferred skills include technical expertise in vendor management, Cisco technologies, Active Directory administration, Microsoft SQL Server, and a range of server and infrastructure management tools. Knowledge of healthcare IT, including data integration, HL7 standards, and PACS administration, is also highly valued.
