Job Description: Global Earthworks & Underground has an opening for a Construction Utility Foreman. Global Earthworks & Underground is a relatively new company experiencing exponential growth and is looking for an individual willing to adapt to the continued growth process.
Responsibilities: •Directly supervises workers' day-to-day on construction projects.
•Maintains all safety standards as instructed.
•Coordinates subcontractor scheduling and the delivery of on-site materials and equipment as required.
•Monitors productivity and work quality to meet schedules and standards.
•Troubleshoots any issues involving workers, contractors, safety, quality, changes, or processes and expedites solutions.
•Performs some specialized tasks which may require on-the job training.
•Effectively uses and delegates heavy and light equipment, depending on the job site requirements.
•Completes or tracks daily time for accurate reporting to payroll.
Requirements: Preferred Qualifications: •Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines.
•Attentive to detail and always alert to ensure safety.
•Able to follow instructions, provide guidance and communicate with co-workers, subcontractors, contractors, and vendors.
•Contributes to the development of processes and procedures.
•3+ years of construction management experience.
Basic Qualifications: •HS Diploma
•Ability to safely operate various vehicles and equipment.
•Must have a valid driver's license.
•Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.
•Prefer experience as a construction foreman in the construction industry.
•OSHA 10 certification required.
•CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
Physical Requirements: •Able to work long periods including evenings and weekends when necessary.
•Must be able to work in all weather conditions and terrains.
•Must be able to lift or carry 25 pounds at a time.
•Must be able to lift, sit, stand, bend, walk for extended periods of time.
