Summit Medical Staffing Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Yakima, Washington.
Level 3 trauma Beds: 226 General Information: Beds: 46 Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? Yes Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes with at least 2 year experience Patient Types: ESRD, Dialysis patients, COPD exacerbation, GI bleed, PNA, COVID, UTI, CHF, AMS, ETOH, SBO, Osteomyelitis, electrolyte abnormalities with remote monitoring, post op. patients, end of life care Patient Ratios: Day shift: 1:4-5 Night shift: 1:5-6 Required Certifications: BLS Skills required: G-tubes, trach care, chest tubes, central lines Support on the Unit: CNA (Ratio:) 1:7 on day shift, 1:8-9 on night shift Receptionist/HUC-Day shift only Charge nurse: Without patient assignment on Days; partial patient assignment on Nights Phlebotomy? Yes IV/VAT Team? Yes until 2300 Hospitalist? Yes Telemetry monitoring tech? Are RNs required to read/measure tele strips? Telemetry techs, RN s are not required to read and measure strips.
