\nWe're looking for a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team in Huntsville, Texas. This role involves providing topnotch nursing care in a correctional setting.
\n
\nResponsibilities:
\n• Deliver patient care as per plans.
\n• Administer medications and treatments.
\n• Document care provided.
\n• Float to different units as needed.
\n
\nStart Dates: Orientations held on weekends post clearance.
\n
\nContract Length: Initial 13 week contract with potential for extension.
\n
\nShift: Day shift
\n
\nHours per week: 36/48 hour rotation. Schedules notified 2+ weeks in advance.
\n
\nOvertime: Available based on performance.
\n
\nCertifications: BLS, IV Therapy Certification.
\n
\nLicense: Compact or Texas LVN.
\n
\nExperience:
\n• Minimum 1.5 years in highest license held.
\n• Acute Care/Med Surg/ED experience.
\n• LTAC, ER, Skilled Nursing, and/or Psych experience preferred.
\n
\nCOVID Vaccine: Required with exemptions accepted.
\n
\nCompensation: Competitive packages for local and travel assignments.
