STATE PARK INTERPRETER I (PI) - $4649-$5823 SANTA CRUZ DISTRICT/ HENRY COWELL REDWOODS SP/ INTERPRETIVE AND EDUCATION PROGRAM

The reporting location for this position is Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park in Felton, California. This position will work under the supervision of the State Park Interpreter III. Responsibilities and support duties related to the interpretive needs of Henry Cowell Redwoods include, developing and providing interpretation and education programs for public visitors and K-12 students and teachers including virtual field trips, coordinating the park's Volunteers In Parks program, facilitating outreach opportunities to build and maintain collaborative relationships, planning special events, cleaning and maintaining visitor center, exhibits and artifacts, as well as assisting with the care and maintenance of the museum collections.

This position requires a Class C drivers license.  You must answer the questions addressing your driver’s license on your application. Ensure you provide your driver’s license number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions on your application.

This position is designated as not telework eligible.  This position may work up to 1500 hours in any calendar year.
