Fooq's Miami is seeking an experienced Sales and Events Manager!

About the Company:

We All Gotta Eat!, a multi-unit, multi-concept restaurant group, with locations in NYC, Miami and soon in LA. Our dynamic group includes Michelin Star locations Sushi Noz and Noz 17 & Noz Market Omakase restaurants and Chez Fifi, a French bistro with Basque influence on the Upper East Side of NYC. Our Miami restaurants include Eleventh Street Pizza locations and the much anticipated opening Fooq's, a 200 seat indoor-outdoor restaurant and lounge with nightlife component located in Little River.

About the Role:

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Sales and Special Events to represent Fooq's and to establish and sell on and off premise catering and events and marketing and partnership programs.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and develop strategic marketing plans to sell events with existing relationships and prospective clients in new and existing business, social, partnerships and marketing channels.
• Collaborate in development social media strategy and content that will enhance and promote our brands.
• Establish relationships with influencers to build brands.
• Proactively identify and develop on and off-premise business and social catering sales.
• Develop and sell office delivery programs.
• Market seasonal promotions and holiday gift card sales, limited time offers, collaborations & special events.
• Identify and develop partnerships and sponsorships to support special events.
• Establish SOP’s for on and off-premise social and business events.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients through the planning process.
• Create detailed function sheets for ops teams that list event details and requirements.
• Routinely update all sales and marketing materials as needed.
• Identify and mine databases to determine sales leads.
• Establish relationships with all clients to build repeat and referral business.
• Assess results on-going to identify successes and determine areas of focus.
• Model positive and respectful behavior in all interactions, at all times.

Qualifications:

• Experience successfully directing Sales and Special Events Manager for a successful restaurant or food & beverage brand.
• Ability to lead a team and successfully work cross functionally with the culinary and operations and support staff to execute events.
• Exceptional communication, sales and marketing skills.
• Ability to sell profitable events that meet or exceed budgeted goals.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability, and visual acuity.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds.
• Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, coworkers, and management.
• Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.
• Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
• Position requires flexibility to work all hours as required.
• Position based at our Miami office with travel to restaurant locations as required
