Department Summary

Within Shell Recharge Solutions, the Licensed Markets team is responsible for the definition, sale, delivery, and support of the Shell Mobility CVP for EV charging activities in >50 licensed markets. For Shell Mobility, a licensed market is a market in which Shell has contracted a local partner (licensee) to operate retail sites under the Shell brand. Shell has over 16,000 retail sites in these licensed markets that sooner or later would like to offer EV charging solutions.

The Role

Within the Licensed Markets team, the Senior Product Portfolio Manager is responsible for owning the licensed markets product strategy. He/She will be defining products & services that can be integrated in licensed markets CVPs for both B2C and B2B journeys. He/She works together with Shell Recharge Solutions’ Global Product & Tech organization to extract these products and services from our existing technology stack and optimize them for deployment in licensed markets. For some solutions, this requires translation to an “as a service” model.

Your Core Accountabilities Are To...

  • Be a key representative for our licensees, empathize with their needs, and strive to create the best Products, Services, and Experience for them.
  • Co-create the service blueprint/catalogue of licensed markets CVPs in B2C and B2B space.
  • Own the product initiative roadmap for licensed markets, giving clear priority to your product delivery peers.
  • Be a single point of contact between the Licensed Markets Team and the Product organization to ensure licensed markets priorities are identified, understood, and being prioritized for delivery.
  • Ensure the delivery activities are in line with the Head of Delivery & Operational Readiness.
  • Work with internal and wider Shell stakeholders to take in capabilities demand for new initiatives within licensed markets space. Support the Business Development function in discussions with licensees to ensure our conversations are grounded.
  • Co-create products, propositions, and services that meet the needs of licensees in line with the team’s objectives.
  • Co-create and analyze metrics that inform product success & health within the licensed market environment.
  • Co-create OKRs that align with the strategic ambition of the Licensed Market Team, which you will help to define.
  • Work with Product Portfolio Managers and Product Owners to ensure licensed markets OKRs are cascading down to Product Portfolio and Product Cell teams priorities.
  • Represent the Licensed Market Team at the opportunity board to assess new commercial opportunities.
