The role As Senior Content Designer, it will be your responsibility to shape the future of personal finance by executing a consistent SoFi voice throughout the experience, leveraging content frameworks that set a high standard for excellence and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary set of stakeholders. You’ll focus on one or more product areas alongside Product Designers, Researchers and larger cross-functional teams for those areas. Additionally, you’ll coordinate with other Content Designers, Marketing writers, and teams to bring the best holistic experience to life for our members. SoFi has achieved significant growth, with ambitious plans ahead, but to continue this growth we need great talent. And that starts with you. Responsibilities Drive content creation across a number of concurrent work streams within one or more product areas including new features, improvements and optimizations. Leverage and contribute to content style guides and repeatable content frameworks. Collaborate closely with Designers, Researchers, Marketing Creatives and Brand Strategists to iterate and drive clear solutions that bring SoFi’s voice to live in product. Develop effective solutions based on research, member insights, and industry best-practices (across finance and tech) Present content solutions and clearly communicate design intent through documentation and presentations Collaborate with other content designers working on other product areas to drive alignment and consistency across the entire user experience Share work early and often for wide visibility and alignment Qualifications And Experience 5+ yrs experience of experience working in content design / UX writing roles, or highly related fields Strong point of view on voice, tone, formatting, etc. Ability to leverage and work with a wide range of tools (ie Figma, Witer.AI, CMS’s, etc.) Strong track record in leverage content design best practices across software products Collaboration skills across cross-functional teams including product management, engineering and marketing Track record in leveraging user research, user needs and product data to make informed design solutions Track record for delivering end to end solutions with cohesive language and patterns, from initial concepts to launch Experience presenting work and rationale to stakeholders and advocating for user needs in the context of business goals Experience working in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, agile environment using tools like Jira and Confluence A portfolio URL or PDF to submit alongside your application with examples of content design work Even better Experience working on financial products Experience developing and/or maintaining content guidelines and frameworks Experience working on multi-phased, long-term initiatives Compensation And Benefits The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.
