Job Title: Secret Cleared Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer
Location: Aberdeen, MD
Clearance Required: Active SECRET Clearance Overview:
Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer with an active Secret clearance to support a federal client engaged in cutting-edge biomedical research. This role involves modeling RF waveform interactions with biological systems, analyzing data using statistical tools, and supporting laboratory experiments in a regulated research environment. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct mechanical and/or electromagnetic modeling of RF waveform interactions with biological systems.
Interpret and assess RF models using statistical software.
Generate clear, insightful visualizations and reports for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Maintain and manage complex data sets in compliance with applicable regulatory standards.
Support laboratory experiments involving RF pulser technologies and their medical applications.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary research teams and adapt to evolving project needs.
Work comfortably in environments involving biomedical research and animal models. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field from an accredited institution.
3+ years of relevant experience in RF engineering or related disciplines.
Strong understanding of RF pulser technologies and their biomedical applications.
Hands-on experience conducting laboratory experiments.
Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., MATLAB, R, Python, etc.).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work in regulated research environments.
Comfortable working around multiple animal species in support of biomedical research. Compensation: $55/hr to $65/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
