LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a reputable company in the Real Estate industry. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Property Accountant to join our team in Ewing, NJ. This hybrid role requires the candidate to work three days in the office and two days remotely. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards for our property portfolio.

Job Title: Property Accountant

Location: Ewing, NJ (Hybrid - 3 days in office, 2 days remote)

Salary: $85,000 - $100,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department for assigned properties.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Maintain and update property management accounting systems.
• Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and variance reports.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, including tenant billing and collections.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and audits.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
• Collaborate with property managers and other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in property accounting or real estate accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Yardi, MRI) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
