Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II to support our client’s medical facility, which is based in Washington DC. This is a 13-week contract position and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist II to join our team in Washington, DC. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a large and reputable client, with the potential for conversion to a full-time position based on performance. In this role, you will be responsible for drawing and processing blood samples, servicing over 100 patients daily in a team environment. The role offers the possibility of career growth and stability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draw blood from patients for laboratory testing.
• Process samples according to lab procedures.
• Work in a patient service center (PSC) that services 100+ patients daily.
• Collaborate with a team of professionals in a multi-draw room setting (5 draw rooms).
• Stand for approximately 75% of the shift while performing blood draws.
• Complete 1 week of new hire training, followed by on-the-job training based on individual progress.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required; Phlebotomy Certification preferred.
• At least 6 months to 1 year of phlebotomy experience.
• Ability to draw 28+ samples daily.
• Comfortable working with pediatric, geriatric, and all patient types.
• Required: Flu, COVID-19

Additional Information:

• Location: Washington DC
• Job Type: 13 weeks Contract
• Shifts: 1st Shift, Mon to Fri, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Sat as scheduled)
• Pay Range : $22-$25 Hourly W2

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
