Job Description
Maintenance and/or related experience expected from a motivated, energetic and self-directed candidate or team!
Duties include:
· Performing general maintenance in units and around the common areas;
· Troubleshooting onsite maintenance problems;
· Maintaining and cleaning the common areas;
· Cleaning, testing and light maintenance of pool;
· Quickly turning units at tenant move-out;
· Answering calls from tenants, management and prospective tenants;
· Enforcing property rules & regulations;
· Serving notices;
· Marketing vacancies and
· Timely leasing of vacated units.
Demonstrated capabilities in a trade position (plumbing, electrical, construction and/or general handyman) or general maintenance aptitude is expected. No prior property management experience is expected and we will train you in the elements of property management that you will need. The ideal candidate(s) will be effective in evaluating & resolving problems and effectively communicating how the problem was managed and resolved. The ideal candidate(s) will demonstrate great communication and organization skills in addition to a service-oriented attitude. The position compensation is FREE housing in a 2 bedroom unit in return for a part-time position. Bi-lingual is a plus but not necessary (Spanish/English preferred).
