Job Title: FundraiserLocation: On-Site, New JerseyRole Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet established goals.
  • Identify potential donors and funding sources through thorough research and networking efforts.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective donors.
  • Create engaging fundraising campaigns, including events, online appeals, and direct mail initiatives.
  • Collaborate with team members to organize and execute fundraising events and initiatives.
  • Coordinate with marketing to create compelling promotional materials for fundraising activities.
  • Develop program budgets and ensure compliance with financial guidelines.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to potential donors and community partners.
  • Manage donor databases and track contributions and engagement levels effectively.
  • Analyze fundraising performance data to enhance strategy and execution.
  • Prepare grant proposals and applications to secure funding for specific projects and programs.
  • Engage with community representatives and stakeholders to broaden reach and impact.
  • Facilitate donor appreciation programs to acknowledge and reward contributions.
  • Monitor industry trends and adjust fundraising approaches accordingly.
  • Ensure all fundraising activities align with organizational values and mission.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in fundraising or a similar role, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sound knowledge of fundraising software and donor management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet fundraising targets and deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of ethical fundraising practices and principles.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary for events and meetings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
