Job Opportunity: Miniature Train Ride Engineers/Conductors

Company: Fun Time Train Rides, LLC

Location: Zilker Park, Austin, TX

Fun Time Train Rides, LLC is currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as miniature train ride engineers/conductors operating "The Zilker Eagle Train" . We value professionalism, reliability, and a strong work ethic in our employees.

Benefits:

• Full-time positions (up to 40 hrs/week) and part-time positions (up to 30 hrs/week) available
• Weekly pay schedule
• Up to 4-day work weeks

Responsibilities:

• Engineers: Operate the train, conduct daily track inspections, and ensure ongoing maintenance
• Conductors: Collect tickets, coordinate with engineers, and provide exceptional customer service
• Execute opening procedures and maintain operational standards throughout each day
• Manage concessions, including sales transactions and inventory replenishment
• Shifts start at 9:00am, with the last train departing at 5:45pm; shift ends after closing duties are completed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum age requirement of 18 years
• Ability to work effectively in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions
• Capacity to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Demonstrated ability to work at a consistent pace with attention to detail
• Successful completion of a background check
