The role involves technical support during project development, execution, and commissioning, with a focus on naval architecture and marine engineering.

  • Marine Project Engineer Responsibilities*
  • Lead ship upgrade projects, including stability booklet updates, vessel modifications, and system upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, Classification Rules, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop project work packs with clear technical details, material specifications, and certification requirements.
  • Manage financial aspects, risk analysis, scheduling, and project controls.
  • Coordinate with vendors, review quotations, and oversee shipyard execution phases.
  • Supervise project teams and contractors to ensure adherence to company and customer standards.
  • Travel internationally (~10%) for shipyard inspections, drydocking, and repairs.
  • Marine Project Engineer Position Requirements *
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or equivalent) with 5+ years of project engineering experience in offshore oil & gas/marine construction.
  • LNG-related operations experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, and scheduling tools like MS Project or Primavera.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • No sponsorship available.
