Career Opportunities with Americas Test Kitchen
America's Test Kitchen is looking for an experienced Managing Producer to join our video team, charged with producing, directing, and editing original videos for YouTube and ATK’s digital platforms. This talented creator will be responsible for producing and overseeing delivery of video content, supervising production on original programming on YouTube and other digital platforms, and managing a small team of producers and editors. This position works under the direction of the Executive Producer, Video.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Mentor and manage a small team of staff video producers, editors, and crew
Produce, direct, edit and oversee delivery of original video programming for YouTube and other platforms
Pitch and develop original content in partnership with the senior leadership team.
Supervise production and post-production workflows and institute team-wide best-practices
Oversee final QC and delivery of content, ensuring consistency of product
Supervise edits and provide feedback and support to staff editors and freelancers
Work with Director of Post Production and Production Manager to plan shoots, streamline workflows, and manage projects effectively
Create and implement process improvements
Edit video content, managing multiple projects while meeting delivery deadlines
Keep up-to-date with production best-practices
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
7+ years of experience producing, directing and editing long-form video content
Previous experience mentoring and managing a video team or crew
Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
Experience with color-correction, graphics, and post-finishing
Must have a collaborative team-oriented mentality along with the ability to work independently and under close direction
Must have great communication skills and be able to give and receive critical feedback in a small team environment
Culinary video experience required; passion for cooking a plus

This position is located in our Boston, MA office in the Seaport district. It is the expectation that the person in this role will work a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) in the office and 2 days per week remotely.
