Job DescriptionJob Description Epic Personnel Partners is hiring a Manager of Compliance & Taxes fora multi-business, multi-state operation based in California. Pay Rate: $120,000–$140,000/year (DOE) + Annual Bonus Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Remote or Onsite (CA HQ) Duties: The Manager of Compliance & Taxes will oversee tax planning, compliance, audits, and strategic initiatives for multiple entities and states, ensuring accurate filings, operational efficiency, and compliance with all regulations. Responsibilities: Prepare and review all federal, state, and local tax filings for multiple entities. Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulations, and licensing requirements. Develop and execute strategic tax planning to minimize liabilities. Monitor tax law changes and advise leadership on business impact. Manage and respond to IRS and state audits. Lead process improvements in tax procedures and compliance tracking. Requirements: 5+ years in tax/accounting with 2+ years in management. CPA license and/or master’s in accounting . Strong corporate and partnership tax knowledge. Skilled in Word, Outlook, Excel; strong analytical and communication skills. Ability to work independently and travel to CA HQ as needed.
