Job Description

Position: Insurance Associate Broker

Location: Chicago, IL

Worksite Arrangement: Hybrid, 2-3 days a week in-office (Mon & Fri work from home)!

Schedule: 8am-5pm ET, M-F

Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 annually DOE + quarterly bonus potential

Start date: ASAP

*P&C License Required

Overview:

Avenica is currently evaluating talent for an Associate Broker in the insurance industry. This person will be responsible for providing exceptional  service to our retail agency clients & insurance markets. The ability to effectively manage several accounts & lines of coverage while maintaining thorough communication with the leader of the team is key for success in this role.  G reat opportunity with long-term stability in the company!

Responsibilities:

  • Assess client needs and provide tailored insurance quotes
  • Coordinate with insurance carriers and agency partners to secure competitive coverage
  • Respond promptly to client and carrier inquiries
  • Develop knowledge of transportation insurance products and market trends
  • Maintain strong relationships with agents and carriers through clear, consistent communication
  • Keep organized and accurate electronic records of policies

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of insurance experience in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
  • Interest in building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • P&C insurance license required. Future renewal costs supported by the company!
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US, Avenica is not able to provide sponsorship at this time
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Strong technical skills
