Corner Bakery is Hiring: Instructional Designer – Restaurant Training & Tech Bring your creativity, restaurant know-how, and tech-savvy mindset to reimagine training at a beloved brand. At Corner Bakery , we’re rolling up our sleeves to revamp our training programs , and we’re searching for an Instructional Designer who’s as passionate about food and hospitality as they are about learning technology and creative design . If you have experience in restaurant operations , love creating engaging training content, and know how to move an LMS forward —especially if you’ve worked with Schoox —this could be the perfect role for you. What You'll Do: Lead the design and development of restaurant-focused training programs , eLearning modules, job aids, and instructional videos. Drive the vision and implementation of our Learning Management System (LMS) —Schoox experience is a big plus! Apply adult learning principles, scenario-based learning, and blended content to make training stick. Travel to restaurant locations nationwide to capture video , collaborate with experts, and create content from the field. Use tools like PowerPoint, Photoshop, Articulate, and Adobe Creative Suite to build compelling training materials. Partner with Culinary, Operations, HR, and Marketing to align learning content with real operational needs. Lead projects from idea to execution with minimal oversight—we need someone who can own it . What We're Looking For: Certified Instructional Designer (ATD, CPLP, or equivalent preferred) Experience in restaurant operations —you’ve walked the walk in the kitchen and on the floor Proficiency in Schoox or similar LMS platforms; must be able to evolve and optimize the LMS experience Skilled in Photoshop, video editing , and building content that resonates with frontline teams Experience with revamping training programs —you’ve modernized content and know how to engage today’s learners A tech-forward thinker who’s excited about exploring new tools and integrating them into learning Willingness to travel (up to 50%) to capture content and roll out training initiatives Self-starter with excellent communication and project management chops Bonus: Background in instructional design for hospitality Passion for storytelling through video and design Comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment This is your chance to shape the future of learning at Corner Bakery.
