Head Financial Asset Analysis Purpose: Drive Newmont's financial transformation to ensure long-term growth, profitability, and credibility with investorsAbout This RoleNewmont is seeking a dynamic Head Financial Asset Analysis to join Newmont’s Integrated Financial Planning (IFP) team and drive enterprise-level financial transformation and long-term profitability. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating asset-level pathways, providing data-driven insights, and enabling enterprise-wide decisions to optimize value. This position bridges financial outcomes at the asset level with Newmont’s broader growth strategy.The primary location for this position is Newmont’s headquarters in Denver, CO. This role requires flexible working hours to support the global scope of responsibilities.What You’ll DoStrategic Leadership: Lead the evaluation of asset performance and development pathways to align with enterprise objectives, optimize capital allocation, and drive cross-functional analysis, while mentoring a high-performing team to build future-ready capabilities.Enterprise-Focused Support: Collaborate with Site Leadership, Technical Services, Finance, and Corporate Development to align asset performance with enterprise financial objectives, assessing risks, opportunities, and innovative solutions for long-term corporate goals.Financial Monitoring and Assurance: Serve as a bridge between operations and financial outcomes, ensuring credible financial guidance by analyzing asset performance to support executive targets, regulatory compliance, and consistent results.Asset and Process Optimization: Analyze financial, operational, and sustainability inputs to identify enterprise-wide solutions that maximize long-term value creation. Address outdated processes to enable better-informed, risk-based decisions and support enterprise objectives across the business portfolio.What We’re Looking ForEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Earth Sciences, Finance, or Business; advanced credentials like CFA or MBA are preferred.Experience: Operational and financial expertise, significant experience in mine operations across diverse settings, and a background in planning, capital projects, and risk management. Experience with M&A due diligence, analytics, and portfolio risk and opportunity assessment is essential.Skills: Advanced project management skills, strong financial expertise in forecasting and analysis, and the ability to align asset operations with enterprise goals while managing competing priorities.Knowledge: In-depth understanding of mine operations, financial planning, portfolio development, and risk management. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont. This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance. This role also will be eligible for participation in a discretionary long-term incentive program, pursuant to which an employee may receive awards based on their level and individual performance.
