About Ditas Marin: Ditas Marin is an upscale waterfront dining destination in Sausalito, CA, known for its refined ambiance, creative menu, and impeccable service. We provide a memorable setting for private events, corporate gatherings, weddings, and more. As we continue to expand our event offerings, we’re seeking a driven, independent Event Planner who can leverage their network and expertise to bring new clients to Ditas Marin.

Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated, commission-based Event Planner to actively seek and secure private events at Ditas Marin. This is a remote, commission-only role with no fixed salary. The ideal candidate has a strong network in the Bay Area, is skilled in event planning, and is adept at building relationships with potential clients. You will earn a commission on each event you bring to Ditas Marin, providing you the flexibility to manage your own schedule and control your income.

Responsibilities:

• Client Acquisition: Proactively seek out and connect with potential clients looking to host private events, corporate gatherings, weddings, and other occasions.
• Networking & Relationship Building: Utilize your network to introduce and promote Ditas Marin as a premier event space.
• Client Coordination: Serve as the point of contact for clients, facilitating their event planning needs and ensuring a smooth transition to the Ditas Marin team for event execution.
• Sales Strategy: Develop and execute creative strategies to target various markets for event bookings, including corporate sectors, local businesses, and individuals.
• Brand Representation: Represent Ditas Marin in a professional manner that aligns with the brand’s upscale image and reputation for exceptional quality.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in event planning, event sales, or a related role.
• Strong network within the San Francisco Bay Area, with a track record of connecting with high-value clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of the event planning process, with an eye for detail and quality.
• Familiarity with the high-end dining or hospitality industry is a plus.

Compensation:

• Commission-Based Only: This position is commission-only, with no fixed salary. Commission rates will be discussed during the interview process.
