This is where your amazing engineering future begins. Our structured Graduate Development Program has been designed to give you an immersive experience across a broad range of engineering capabilities. As well as receiving first-class training and support, you’ll work alongside and learn from some of the most respected and highly qualified professionals in their field.

Our goal is to provide experiences that provide breadth of exposure to the many facets of core engineering and internal networks from technical project teams to leadership to help you navigate exciting and purposeful career opportunities. From this foundation, you can choose to continue to broaden your skills with a technical project or to dive into a specialty focus becoming a technical specialist. Through coaching, mentoring, and training with both our best technical and business leaders, you will develop the necessary technical and behavioral skills to leverage a toolbox of experiences, capabilities, and leadership competencies for success and growth.

What you’ll do:

Throughout the 18-24-month program, you’ll complete a series of multi-month rotations that will focus on the foundational development of Rolls-Royce values, culture, organizations, structures, and tools. These placements will provide an understanding of core engineering and systems methods and procedures with practiced use across the full product lifecycle. Placement experiences afford meaningful and purposeful projects; giving you the chance to apply critical thinking, innovative problem solving, and creative solutions within a collaborative team environment. As part of the team, you’ll address a current company challenge or opportunity to deliver direct value to our customers.

What you’ll need:

Ideal candidates will have strong demonstrations of interpersonal skills, curiosity, problem solving, and analytical and critical thinking skills.

Candidates will be able to/have:

  • Understand purpose and importance of customer relationships
  • Demonstrate how to identify a problem
  • Understanding of how to recognize the variables (requirements, quality, cost, timing) impacting a problem
  • Demonstrate written and oral communication, and presentation and facilitation skills to a variety of audiences (e.g., technical experts, leadership, and customers)

Majors:

  • Bachelors Required.
  • Engineering: Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautics, Material Science, Systems, Electrical, Software, Electronics, Mechatronics and Computer
  • STEM: Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, and Information Technology
  • Graduation eligibility: Graduating between December 2024 and August 2025
  • Minimum GPA: 3.0
  • Work Authorization Eligibility: to be considered, you must also be a U.S. Citizen. There is no visa sponsorship for this position.
