Viridian Staffing's ( Client is looking for a Director of Cannabis Cultivation to join a fast-growing cannabis company about 20 minutes outside of Victorville, California.

Founded in 2013, Viridian Staffing ( is the Original staffing, recruiting, and HR consulting firm solely dedicated to organizations in and supporting the commercial, medical, and industrial cannabis / hemp industry.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the day-to-day operations of a regulated, cannabis facility. You will oversee all aspects of the cultivation facility from seed to sale. As an experienced leader, you inspire the cultivation team to be compliant with all regulations and SOPs relating to safety, security, and health. Your prior team members would consider you a collaborative leader with a 'can-do' attitude and a 'roll up your sleeves' work ethic, who is dedicated to setting the organization up for success. You will oversee the creation and implementation of all departments: mom, clone, veg, flower, dry and cure. You are a data driven leader and have proven experience utilizing data to suggest process improvements. With your proven leadership skills, you'll strive for continuous process improvement, better performance and data driven insights.

Your background should be a Bachelor's degree or higher and at least 5+ years of experience managing a cultivation facility with at least 2+ of these years having direct people management responsibilities and at least 1+ year of this in a regulated cannabis facility. You have strong communication and analytical skills, along with experience enforcing GMP and OSHA requirements, enabling you to easily work with regulatory officials touring the facility and to explain (and you enjoy explaining) complex scientific information to non-scientific individuals. You are also compliance driven and have experience with inventory management, supply chain, operational work flows, scheduling, nutrients & feeding schedules, creating & analyzing projects, and are technology savvy. METRC experience is required.

Pay: $130,000-$170000
