Job Description

Are you passionate about teaching life-saving skills? We are looking for a dedicated and engaging Certified CPR Instructor to lead CPR, First Aid, and Basic Life Support (BLS) training sessions. This part-time role offers a flexible, hybrid schedule with both in-person and online instruction.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans for Adult/Pediatric First Aid, CPR, and BLS training.

Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions for groups of various sizes.

Demonstrate correct CPR/BLS techniques effectively both online and in-person.

Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their skills and ensure proficiency.

Monitor and evaluate student progress, ensuring all participants meet CPR competency requirements.

Maintain current and compliant training materials aligned with industry regulations.

Commit to ongoing professional development to uphold CPR training standards.

Deliver exceptional customer service to students.

Submit student names for CPR credential processing.

Teaching Schedule & Compensation:

Evening classes: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM.

Occasional Saturdays: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM & 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM.

6-9 hours of teaching per week.

Compensation: $45 - $50 per hour.

In-person skills assessments take place in the Bronx.

Qualifications:

CPR Instructor Certification with BLS Instructor credentials (required).

Minimum experience teaching at least four CPR classes.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to teach effectively in both in-person and online settings.

Proficiency with Zoom, MS Teams, Google Classroom, and other remote instruction tools.

Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and maintain professionalism.

Commitment to providing high-quality customer service and maintaining confidentiality.

Must be willing to work evenings and occasional Saturdays.
