Just Courts utilizes industry experts, the highest-quality materials and state-of-the-art equipment to ensure that every project is completed to the highest standards. With a growing international presence across the United States, Australia, Canada, Just Courts is the go-to organization for commercial pickleball court installation. We’re seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager to lead and optimize the execution of court surfacing projects from start to finish.

Position Summary:

The Project Manager will oversee and coordinate the entire lifecycle of pickleball court surfacing projects, with a primary focus on managing The Picklr account. This includes scheduling and executing tasks such as court surfacing, grinding, fencing, and concrete preparation. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing construction projects and multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for The Picklr account, ensuring smooth communication, scheduling, and execution across all locations.
  • Project Scheduling: Plan and coordinate all phases of the court surfacing process including concrete grinding, surface prep, application, and fencing.
  • Site Coordination: Conduct on-site visits to assess project needs, site readiness, and progress; ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Concrete Surface Prep: Evaluate and direct necessary surface preparation including patching, leveling, grinding, and moisture mitigation.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Clearly communicate job scopes, timelines, and expectations to franchisees, general contractors, and internal teams.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve project delivery timelines.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain up-to-date records of job status, site conditions, change orders, and completion metrics.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and high-quality workmanship.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve on-site issues, scheduling conflicts, and technical challenges as they arise.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of project management experience in construction, sports facility installation, or a related field.
  • Strong background in surfacing or concrete preparation preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Experience working with Franchisees and General Contractors is a plus.
  • Ability to travel frequently to project sites across the U.S.
  • Proficient in project management tools and scheduling software (e.g., Excel, Procore, Smartsheet, MS Project).
  • Familiarity with pickleball or other sports facilities, surfacing a plus.
