Shift: Days 410 schedule 40 hours guaranteed
Position Classification: Nonexempt
Compensation Range: $36.61 to $54.92; Facility Salary: $76148.80 to $114233.00

Physical Therapists with competency in outpatient orthopedics are required and some subacute inpatient coverage as needed.
Essential Functions and Basic Duties
Position Specific Performance Expectations:
- Meets the patients goals and needs and provides quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results; and determining physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with the interdisciplinary team.
- Diagnose and manage movement dysfunction and enhance physical and functional abilities.
- Restore maintain and promote not only optimal physical function but optimal wellness and fitness and optimal quality of life as it relates to movement and health.
- Prevent the onset symptoms and progression of impairments functional limitations and disabilities that may result from diseases disorders conditions or injuries
- Recommend the use of assistive devices and provide gait training as deemed necessary
- Completes discharge planning by consulting with physicians nurses social workers and other health care workers; contributing to patient care conferences.
- Documents patient care services via EMR charting using defensible documentation in a timely and concise manner in compliance with industry standards.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures rules and regulations.
- Protects patients and employees by adhering to infectioncontrol policies and protocols.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies.
- Develops rehab and hospital staff by providing information; and developing and conducting inservice training programs.
- Complies with federal state and local legal and certification requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; and advising management on needed actions.
- Strives to: promote health create a safe and effective treatment environment motivate others have a good bedside manner listen analyze information and be qualityfocused.
- Participates in ongoing professional development to maintain a level of clinical practice consistent with best practice standards. This includes seeking opportunities to gain new knowledge and skills and utilizing these newly acquired skills in the provision of care and for the growth and development of the department and hospital.
- Critically assesses self to improve clinical and professional performance.
- Advocates for the physical therapy profession.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Schoolbased physical therapists (in addition to the above expectations): Collaborate with the schoolbased team to help determine and carry Individualized Education Programs (IEPs); identify a students annual goals and determine the services supports modifications and accommodations that are required for the student to achieve them.
- Home health physical therapists (in addition to the above expectations): Provide inhome physical therapy services to homebound patients and work in collaboration with the home health interdisciplinary team.

Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:
- Active Colorado Physical Therapy License (DORA)
- Current CPR(BLS) certification (within 90 days of hire)

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Must be at least 16 years of age (21 for driving positions)
- Must be able to legally work in the United States
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and breath alcohol test (if applicable)
- Must complete employee health meeting
