Top MUST have skills:

• Highly skilled (SME) Cisco CCIE Routing and Switching Engineer with experience in design and architecture.
• Must possess a Cisco CCNP Datacenter or Enterprise, CCIE or CCDE certification.
• Possess expert-level knowledge of Cisco routing and switching technologies and experience in designing and implementing complex network solutions
• Strong hands-on architect experience
• Manage Service Provider (MSP) experience (strong nice-to-have)

 

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable network architectures based on Cisco technologies.
• Develop and document network design specifications, including diagrams and technical documentation.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions into larger IT projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues in a timely manner.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve network infrastructure.

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of experience in Configuring, and troubleshooting networking equipment
• Strong knowledge and skills in network design, architecture, and optimizing network solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching technologies (e.g., VLANs, STP, VTP, and VRF’s).
• Strong experience with network security technologies (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, ACLs, 802.1x)
• Experience and willingness to learn and support other various technologies such as Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, HPE, Sophos, or Brocade is a plus.
