Position Summary
We are looking for thoughtful, well-rounded Carpet Cleaning Technicians to join ONEWAYs Renew Crew-ready team. As a Carpet Clean Technician, you will be responsible for driving to a clients location, assessing the needs of that client, applying stain/cleaning treatments, repair carpet, installing carpet bars, and ensuring all work is completed to ONEWAYs high standards! You may also be required to up-sell services and additional cleaning products. Here at ONEWAY, we work with both residential and commercial clients. We are looking for Full-Time and Seasonal positions!

To ensure your success as a Carpet Cleaning Technician, you should have knowledge of carpet cleaning products, good communication skills and the ability to lift heavy objects. Ultimately, a top-class ONEWAY Carpet Technician is friendly and efficient while providing our clients the highest quality service.

Join us for a day on the job, PAID! Youll join one of our certified corporate trainers during an actual day on the job. By the end of the day, youll know if were a good fit for you, and well know if youre a good fit for us.

Responsibilities (paid training included)

• Meeting with clients to discuss their cleaning needs/wants.
• Set dehumidifiers, fans, air scrubbers, and other equipment at the worksite, ensuring proper setup and removal.
• Assessing state of floors that need to be cleaned
• Applying carpet cleaning chemicals to carpets and floors
• Cleaning carpets using machines
• Repair and patch carpets
• Act as daily on-site contact for the customer, ensuring their needs are met and questions are answered.
• Participate in our 24-hour on-call rotation, responding to emergency losses after hours and on weekends, as dictated by the on-call schedule.
• Drive company vehicles
• Developing new clients to bring to the organization.
• Other duties as assigned by skill level growth
• Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• New business drum up
• Comply with all ONEWAY policies and procedures and legislative requirements.
• Vehicle safety and maintenance inspections operate a motor vehicle per ONEWAYs vehicle policy

Qualifications

• Valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record
• Ability to lift 60 lbs
• Satisfactory background check
• Having excellent communication and customer service skills, providing compassion and empathy to our customers.
• Present a professional appearance & demeanor wearing Oneways Renew Crew ready gear.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Take initiative in pursuing industry certifications and improving technical knowledge through one-way training/university.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and stress
• IICRC Certificates would be preferred, but not required.
