Overview
We are seeking a Cable Installer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low voltage systems, including telecommunications and network installations. This role requires a strong understanding of cabling, field service operations, and the use of various testing equipment. If you are passionate about technology and have a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply.

Techs must have a work truck or van, ladder rack and cable tools (we have a tool rental program)!

Duties

• Install and maintain low voltage systems, including telephone and telecommunication networks.
• Perform network installations with a focus on Cisco routers and related equipment.
• Utilize hand tools and testing devices such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functionality of systems.
• Troubleshoot issues in the field, providing effective solutions to technical problems.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used.

Experience

• Proven experience in low voltage installations or related field service work is preferred.
• Familiarity with cabling techniques and standards for telecommunications systems.
• Proficient in using hand tools and testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.
• Knowledge of network installation processes, particularly with Cisco routers, is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
