Metrics LLC is seeking a highly skilled Business Architect as we compete for an opportunity to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Operations Security and Preparedness (OSP). This on-site position is based in Washington, DC. The Business Architect will play a critical role in modernizing business processes and enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the VA’s critical mission areas.

Responsibilities:

• Leading the analysis, design, and implementation of diverse enterprise-wide business processes and systems.
• Conducting comprehensive business process reengineering and improvement studies.
• Developing and executing implementation plans to streamline VA operations and sustain process improvements.
• Performing gap analyses of current and target organizational processes, making recommendations for enhancements.
• Collaborating with VA stakeholders to elicit and analyze business requirements, ensuring that new processes align with VA’s strategic goals.
• Developing tools and methodologies to effectively analyze, interpret, and present data for decision-making purposes.
• Supporting the creation and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and process documentation for management reviews.
• Ensuring compliance with federal regulations, VA policies, and performance standards.
• Attending and leading project management meetings, providing weekly and monthly status reports, and ensuring timely project deliverables.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Emergency Management Operations and Preparedness
• Knowledge of Security and Law Enforcement
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing process improvements for complex, enterprise-wide systems.
• Familiarity with project management principles and experience in managing cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working with senior-level stakeholders.
• Knowledge of VA systems, security, and law enforcement procedures is preferred.
