Job Description
We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our Emerging Tech team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and cutting-edge technology solutions, ensuring that our projects drive value and align with organizational goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze processes, gather requirements, and provide actionable insights that support the development and implementation of new technology initiatives. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in strategic planning, market research, and business analytics. 

Responsibilities and Duties

• Analyze business processes and workflows, identifying areas for technological improvements or innovation.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams, business units, and external vendors to ensure seamless communication and project alignment.
• Identify opportunities for optimization and support the implementation of new tools and methodologies that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the business analysis function.
• Stay up to date with industry news, regulations, and developments that could impact business opportunities. 
• Support the team in organizing and preparing for meetings, presentations, and events.
• Work with GovWin or similar platforms to research, track, and identify new government contract opportunities.
• Assist in identifying and contacting potential teaming partners through email communication. 
• Work closely with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business and technical requirements for Emerging Tech initiatives.
• Review and analyze government solicitations and contracts to identify strategic opportunities for the company. 

Qualifications and Skills 

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities. 
• Analytical mindset with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data. 
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment. 
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to the company's business development initiatives. 
• Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. 
• A basic understanding of government contracting, and procurement processes is preferred.
