Job Summary:
The Audiology Manager will oversee the daily operations of the audio and hearing services at the Los
Angeles Center for Hearing and Balance (LACHB). This role will be responsible for managing
the clinic’s audiology services, supervising audiology staff, and ensuring high-quality patient
care related to hearing assessments, audiological testing, and balance services. The ideal
candidate will have a strong background in audiology, a passion for patient-centered care, and
leadership experience in a clinical or healthcare setting.

Team Leadership and Supervision
? Manage and lead a team of audiology assistants, and clinical staff.
? Coordinate daily schedules and assign tasks to ensure optimal clinic flow.
? Provide ongoing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations to the audio team.
? Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting continuous learning and
professional growth.
Clinical Operations Management
? Ensure the efficient execution of all audiology-related clinical services, including hearing
assessments, balance evaluations, hearing aid fittings, and other diagnostic procedures.
? Oversee equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting to ensure quality
testing.
? Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret test results
and develop personalized treatment plans.
? Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new audiological technologies and best practices in the
field.
Patient Care and Communication
? Provide direct patient care, including conducting audiological assessments, interpreting
results, and developing treatment plans.
? Address patient concerns and provide support for any questions related to hearing health
and balance.
? Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and interdisciplinary teams to
ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Quality Control and Compliance
? Ensure all clinical procedures comply with health and safety regulations, HIPAA, and
other applicable healthcare standards.
? Develop and implement best practices for audiological testing and patient care within the
center.
? Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), patient satisfaction, and
operational efficiency.
Administrative and Budgetary Support
? Assist with budget management for the audiology department, ensuring cost-effective
operation while maintaining high standards of care.
? Participate in strategic planning, including the development of goals and objectives for
the audiology team and the overall clinic.
? Oversee inventory management of audiology equipment and supplies, ensuring
availability and cost control.
Continuous Improvement and Research
? Stay informed of the latest developments in audiology, hearing technology, and clinical
research.
? Lead or participate in research initiatives, contributing to the advancement of hearing and
balance care.
? Promote evidence-based practices to ensure the center remains at the forefront of
audiological care.
Qualifications and Experience:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty

required.
Education
? Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Healthcare Administration
Experience
? Minimum of 2 years of clinical audiology experience or similar, and in a leadership or
supervisory role.
? Experience working in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting is a plus.
Skills
? Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a
diverse team.
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively
with patients, staff, and interdisciplinary teams.
? Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple
