Job Purpose
The Accounting Assistant will provide management with financial information by researching and analyzing accounts, preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.

What you will do:

• Perform monthly close processes and account reconciliations in support of the monthly close process
• Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensuring financial information has been recorded accurately
• Assist in A/P and A/R
• Provide assistance to other branches for accounting matters
• Provide financial data related to assigned responsibilities to fulfill both internal and external requests for financial data efficiently
• Identify process improvement opportunities that adds value to company
• Maintain records and files
• Other duties assigned as needed

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in accounting or related field

Skills:

• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and complete work timely and accurately
• Ability to identify improvement opportunities within processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external business partners through effective communication
• Quickbooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe, etc.)
• Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills
